During the Partner Showcase Nintendo Direct, Konami has finally announced a release date for Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, as well as revealing that the game will also be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on March 6, 2025.
About Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars
This remastered version of the first two Suikoden games, which are iconic JRPGs that inspired many creators, including the recently released spiritual successor, Eiyuden Chronicles.
Featuring pixel sprites and environment art enhanced with new screen effects including lighting, clouds, and shadow animations Flickering flames, smoldering smoke, the movement of leaves and insects, all add up to a lively in-game atmosphere, allowing both new and old fans to relive the experience.
