Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Dimps have recently announced that the Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream game will finally be releasing on October 3, 2024 on PlayStation 5 in Japan. It is unknown whether this date will also apply to the West as of right now.
Three editions of the game will be available: The Standard Edition, the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Digital Premium Edition.
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the Character Pass 1 downloadable content, which lets players play the Visitors from Another World story. The Digital Premium edition takes a step further, with additional costumes, a digital art book, and more. Pre-ordering either of these editions will also give you the ability to play the game three days prior to release.
