Prime Matter and Nightdive Studios have just announced that the System Shock remake will be releasing on May 21 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, almost a year after the original PC launch.
The System Shock remake has players unravel the chilling story of the artifical intelligence SHODAN, and explore the mysteries of Citadel Station, piecing together the truth in this atmospheric sci-fi world. It is up to them to you to SHODAN from exterminating all life on Earth.
Furthermore, the game also promises new areas and mechanics while keeping true to the core of the franchise as a whole, with the PlayStation 5 even offering 4K 60 FPS support and redesigned controls from the PC version.
