SNK has announced a new mechanic will be added to The King of Fighters XV on the January 30 update. The game will now have a system called Advance Strike, which is showcased in a new trailer.
The King of Fighters XV is the latest game in SNK’s fighting franchise. It came out on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 16, 2022.
The Advance Strike is a technique that can help deal with the enemy throws and attacks. However, unlike the already existing Shatter Strike, it’s more offense-oriented.
It costs half a power gauge bar to execute it. Though it’s slower than Shatter Strikes, you can regain the half bar cost on hit or block. It also sends enemies flying and causes knockdown.
