Naughty Dog’s documentary on the development of The Last of Us Part II will finally be able to stream on YouTube soon, following production “delay”.
Announced by Naughty Dog via X/Twitter, the documentary titled “Grounded II: Making of The Last of Us Part II” was a project that started in 2018. However, the video chronicling the development of The Last of Part II was abandoned during the pandemic.
Years after the project began, Grounded II is finally getting its needed polish as it’s set for viewing on YouTube. In a comprehensive approach that seeks to expose even the nitty-gritty of the undertaking, the documentary will dabble with not only the highlights of the game’s development. But also the pain points that the developers have encountered throughout such time, such as the issue of crunches and, as an extra, the most recent leaks.
Planned to coincide with the official PS5 release of The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Grounded II will be available for streaming on YouTube on January 19, 2024. The same documentary can also be viewed in-game as a bonus.
Grounded II is a sequel to “Grounded: Making of The Last of Us,” which is a documentary about the development story of the original title in the franchise.
