In their latest financial report, publisher and developer Ubisoft has announced that as part of a company strategy to streamline its operations and adapt to evolving market trends, there have been further reorganizations to the internal development teams.
As such, they have officially cancelled development of the free-to-play multiplayer survival action game Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland, and resources have been redeployed to titles such as XDefiant and Rainbow Six.
Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland was first announced back in 2021 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, but not many details were revealed other than a rating in Taiwan and some play tests here and there. Unfortunately, after the game was quietly delayed to an undefined date, not much information came to light.
