Atlus West has shared a new trailer for Unicorn Overlord. Titled Josef’s Guide to Interaction!, the video explores some of the intricate elements of bonding with allies.
Unicorn Overlord is a tactical RPG that follows the story of the prince of Cornia, Alain. After General Valmore usurps the throne, he flees from home to keep the royal lineage alive.
However, the new overlord brings war to the whole continent. Now Alain must lead the Liberation Army to fight back and liberate the continent from Valmore’s ambition.
In the new video, we get a closer look at the ways Alain can get closer to his subjects in the army. You can create rapport with those individuals by battling together in the same unit, giving them gifts or feasting with them.
With a good rapport, allies will be more effective together in battle. It’ll increase stats according to the rapport level between characters. Players may also unlock new conversations between specific pairings.
