Atlus and Vanillaware have released the launch trailer for Unicorn Overlord, announcing that the game is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Furthermore, to celebrate the official release, the official Japanese X (formerly Twitter) account of Vanillaware also tweeted out a special image with a message from the director, which you can view a translated version below:
I have created a work that I would like to pass on to my teen self, who was supported by the game. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who were involved in the production of [Unicorn Overlord]. I believe that a game is only truly complete when people play it, and I hope we can meet everyone’s expectations.

Unicorn Overlord is a tactical RPG that follows the story of the prince of Cornia, Alain. After General Valmore usurps the throne, he flees from home to keep the royal lineage alive. However, the new overlord brings war to the whole continent. Now Alain must lead the Liberation Army to fight back and liberate the continent from Valmore’s ambition.
