Urobuchi-Written Platformer ‘Rusty Rabbit’ Comes To PS5 in September

NetEase and Nitroplus have announced the release date for Rusty Rabbit. The 2.5D platformer written by Gen Urobuchi of Madoka Magica and Fate/Zero fame is coming to PlayStation 5 on September 24, 2024.

Rusty Rabbit takes place thousands of years after humans left the Earth and rabbits became the dominant species. As an eccentric rabbit by the name Stamp, you must journey through this world looking for your daughter and learn more about the secrets it holds.

Part of the experience revolves around gathering junk to improve your trusty mech. With more parts and materials from the ruins, the player will be able to upgrade it and get stronger.

The companies have also shared a new trailer that shows Stamp’s voice actor is Takaya Kuroda. He’s better known as the voice for Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series.

The video also highlights his rivals, the BBs, and their respective Japanese voice actors. The list includes Fairouz Ai, Show Hayami, Yu Kobayashi, Showtaro Morikubo, Kujira, and Akari Kito.
