Square Enix has announced Visions of Mana. This is an entirely new game in the Mana series that the company plans to release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2024.
Visions of Mana is a 3D action RPG with a semi-open world. The game tells the story of Val, a young man who hails from the Fire Village of Tianeea.
As his childhood friend is picked by the fairies to travel to the Tree of Mana, Val decides to become her soul guard. Now they’ll have the chance to explore a detailed 3D world full of vibrant areas and discover many secrets on their journey together.
The development team includes producer Masaru Oyamada, and composers Hiroki Kikuta, Tsuyoshi Sekito, and Ryo Yamazaki. Character designer HACCAN, monster illustrator Airi Yoshioka, and monster design supervisor Koichi Ishii are also part of the team.
