During today’s Summer Games Fest 2024 Showcase, Annapurna Interactive has announced that the tea shop simulation game Wanderstop will be coming
Wanderstop is about a fighter named Alta who has been forced to stop fighting and manage a tea shop. The trailer opens up with Alta explaining her duties as a shop caretaker, ranging from caring and harvesting plants to brewing tea for customers. It then ends with a sequence of her trying to talk herself into loving this new life that she has found.
The game promises to be heavily narrative driven, from the creator of The Stanley Parable and The Beginners Guide, the co-creator of Gone Home and Tacoma and the mind behind the music in Minecraft. This new title will release later this year.
