XDefiant Announces End Of Service For June 2025; Game Now Delisted From Storefronts

Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft San Francisco have announced yesterday that they will cease service operations for the free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter XDefiant. At the same time, the game has also been delisted from the PlayStation Store.

Players who still have the game installed will still be able to continue playing and access upcoming content until the servers close on June 3, 2025. Furthermore, those who purchased the Ultimate Founder’s Pack, as well as any who made any purchases within the last 30 days will receive a full refund. Those refunds should happen automatically within the next eight weeks.

About XDefiant

XDefiant, formerly known as Tom Clancy’s XDefiant, was a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter video game where players competed in fast-paced clashes. There were 14 maps at launch across several different arena and linear modes including Zone Control, Escort, Occupy, and more.

Furthermore, the game’s Factions were also drawn from iconic Ubisoft worlds and represent distinct classes, each with unique abilities and Ultras, allowing players to change at any point during play to adapt their strategy.
