HoYoverse has just announced that their urban fantasy action RPG, Zenless Zone Zero, will be officially releasing PlayStation 5 on July 4, 2024. Pre-registrations are still ongoing via the PlayStation Store.
Ever since pre-registrations began, the game has garnered over 35 million players, with the developer saying that they are very close to 40 million sign-ups. All of the rewards from the campaign, including up to 20 Master Tapes, which can be used to obtain rare characters, the playable Agent Corin, 30,000 Dennies, and Boopons, an in-game item used to obtain rare Bangboo, will be given to all players when the servers open.
In Zenless Zone Zero, contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as “Hollows.” New Eridu, the last urban civilization that survived the apocalypse, manages to thrive by acquiring the technology to extract essential resources out of the Hollows. Players will embark on an adventure as Proxies who cooperate with distinctive Agents and unveil the unknown mysteries behind New Eridu and the Hollows.
