Bandai Namco has recently shared a new trailer for Tekken 8. This time, the trailer highlights the new Eddy Gordo fighter with a gameplay reveal video.
Eddy Gordo will be available alongside the game’s version 1.03.01 patch on April 4th, which adds several functional improvements and bug fixes, which you can view here. However, players who’ve purchased the Character Year 1 Pass owners will be able to access him three days earlier, on April 1st.
Eddy Gordo was first introduced in Tekken 3. He is a capoeira master from Brazil known as the Indomitable Flash. Ever since he was young, he knew he would one day take over the family business. He was well liked in his hometown because he was a hard worker who treated others as his equals.
Tekken 8 is the latest game in the 3D fighter franchise. The game marks a new beginning as it continues the tragic saga of the Mishima and Kazama bloodlines, and their world-shaking father-and-son grudge matches starting from six months after the closure of the last match. The game is currently available on PlayStation 5.
