BAR Stella Abyss Shares Second Japanese Trailer

Nippon Ichi Software has shared a new trailer for BAR Stella Abyss. The game is a spiritual successor of sorts to Monster Menu: The Scavenger’s Cookbook and the new video explores some of its gameplay systems.

BAR Stella Abyss is a game that mixes tactical RPG with roguelike elements and dungeon exploration. Players will go from a unique bar to curious worlds brimming with danger looking for a way to remove the curse that took their face and hand.

You will be able to meet quirky characters in the bar, drink with them to deepen your bonds, and later take them to the dreamlike journey.

The new trailer shows the turn-based tactical battles, unique skills, choosing how to progress through the dungeon, the importance of cocktails to unlock bonuses, and conversations with the cast.

BAR Stella Abyss is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024 in Japan. An English release has yet to be announced but it’s likely to happen at some point considering NIS America’s localization history.
