In an unexpected announcement yesterday, Bandai Namco has announced that Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy XVI will be added to the Tekken 8 character roster as a DLC character. Clive will launch alongside the Phoenix Gate stage for Playable Character Year 1 Pass holders on December 16, followed by a general release on December 19, 2024.
In addition, FINAL FANTASY XVI collaboration items are now available in the TEKKEN SHOP. The Joshua Rosfield collaboration pack costs 500 coins, and includes 3 different items: Undying Red, which is inspired on Clive’s brother’s attire, Nectar the Bold and Bomb King (Red).
Tekken 8 is the latest game in the 3D fighter franchise. The game marks a new beginning as it continues the tragic saga of the Mishima and Kazama bloodlines, and their world-shaking father-and-son grudge matches starting from six months after the closure of the last match. The game is currently available on PlayStation 5.
