Sony and Kojima Productions shared a new trailer for Death Stranding 2 during the State of Play. It reveals the game’s full name will be Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and it will be available on PlayStation 5 in 2025.
After the events of the first game, Sam Porter Bridges will now have a bigger mission. The player will have to connect humanity beyond the UCA.
The companies describe the game as follows:
In DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH, embark on an inspiring mission of human connection beyond the UCA. Sam—with companions by his side—sets out on a new journey to save humanity from extinction. Join them as they traverse a world beset by otherworldly enemies, obstacles and a haunting question: should we have connected?
