Publisher DGREMAKE and Fanza Games have announced Dōkyūsei Remake CSVer for PlayStation 4. The console edition of the classic dating sim remake will be available in Japan on April 18, 2024.
Dōkyūsei is one of the seminal titles in the dating simulator genre. Released back in 1992, the title was one of the big successes for developer Elf and explored the concept of a young man looking for love at the final year of his high school life.
The title received multiple sequels and remakes, including a 2021 HD PC edition which featured revamped illustrations by Sumeragi Kohaku. This edition was released in English by publisher Shiravune under the title Dōkyūsei: Bangin’ Summer.
At this moment, the company hasn’t disclosed if they plan on making the console edition available in English. However, the fact the game has already been translated before might make this more likely.
