Bethesda has announced DOOM: The Dark Ages. The newest entry in the first-person shooter is coming to PlayStation 5 in 2025.
The Dark Ages will be a prequel to DOOM and Doom Eternal. The single-player FPS is under developement on id Software using their idTech engine.
As the DOOM Slayer, we must now face the Hell forces in a medieval experience. In the announcement video, we get a look at the game, and how it mixes dark ages elements with magic and technology.
