D3 Publisher has announced the release date for Earth Defense Force 6. The latest entry into the action game series is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on July 25, 2024.
EDF is a long-running franchise of action titles about humanity facing giant aliens in epic battles. Some of those may look like big bugs, dinosaurs or robotic artifacts.
The new title takes place in 2027 when the Earth forces eliminated the Primers and have found some peace. However, the reduced populace and remaining threats were still harsh circumstances.
The new title is the largest in the series with many missions and support to online and offline co-op play. With four soldier classes and a ton of weapons to use, players should have good opportunities to make their own build and face the aliens.
