Square Enix announced that the collaboration event between their Final Fantasy XIV game and Dragon Quest X will be returning from June 5 to June 20, 2024.
To participate in the event, new players must first level up their character to 15, and complete their main scenario quest up until their starting city’s Envoy quest. This quest is named differently depending on your chosen starter class.
For example, if you start on Limsa Lominsa, the quest is named The Lominsan Envoy. Next, players must must speak with Havak Alvak of the Mythril Eye, located in Ul’dah Steps of Nald.
In this event, players will have to clear specific FATEs that are scattered across several locations in North Shroud and Central Shroud. Players can then purchase a King Slime Crown by speaking with the Toughie in Ul’dah, and obtain rewards by clearing those FATEs.
