Furyu Announces New Action RPG Reynatis; Coming Late July in Japan

Today, Furyu, publisher of Crystar and Monark, announced a new action RPG named Reynatis which will release on July 25, 2024 in Japan. As of the time of writing, there are no news of localization status. The Japanese website will slowly update with new information, including a trailer planned to come out February 26.

This title promises to be an Action RPG focusing on two protagonists, Marin Kirizumi and Sari Nishijima. The official website has a synopsis of the plot which we have translated from Japanese:

Magic exists in modern day Shibuya, and it is considered an uncontrollable power. And Marin Kirizumi, the protagonist, aims to conquer it. On the other hand, Sara Nishijima, wishes to use magic to take the world under control. And it is with these opposing forces that our story begins…

The title will be helmed by some well known figures in the video game industry, with Natsume Atari developing the title. Natsume has been known for publishing the Harvest Moon series in the west. While Yoko Shimomura will be the composer for the title, who has composed previously for Kingdom Hearts.

Rounding out the rest of the announced team is Takumi Isobe for planning, production and direction. Key visual art will be created by Yusuke Naora, with character designs by Yasutaka Kaburaki. Finally StudioGoonies will be in charge of the pre-rendered videos for the title.

Reynatis will release in Japan on July 25, 2024 on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. You can watch the announcement trailer below:
