Square Enix have recently posted a banner for an upcoming TGS 2023 Steam Sale. Most of the games on the graphics are modern games but oddly enough they also include Final Fantasy IX in the graphic.
Does it mean anything? Who knows! Final Fantasy IX Remake was of course listed in the infamous Nvidia Game leak, most of which has come true by now.
