Little Nightmares III Showcases 18 Minutes of Co-Op Gameplay

Bandai Namco has shared a new video for the upcoming horror adventure game Little Nightmares III. It shows around 18 minutes of co-op gameplay in an area called “The Necropolis.”

Little Nightmares III is the next game in the horror action adventure series originally developed by Tarsier Studios. Unlike the previous titles, this entry is on the hands of Supermassive Games, whose works include Until Dawn and the Dark Pictures anthology.

In the new game, we follow the duo Low and Alone as they look for a path out of an area called Nowhere. As they explore disturbing places full of delusions, they’ll have to work together in order to survive.

One of the main attractions of the game is that it’ll be the first one in the series to include co-op. It’ll be possible to play it with a friend online. For those who want to play it alone, it’ll include an AI companion.

The new trailer highlights how co-op works as the two players explore an area called The Necropolis. However, it may not reflect the final quality of the game as this footage is in pre-alpha.

Little Nightmares III is coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in 2024. The publisher has yet to reveal a more specific release date.
