Level-5 has shared a new video for Megaton Musashi: Wired. It’s a commercial that shows about 30 seconds of the game’s mechanics and story-focused bits.
Megaton Musashi: Wired is the latest edition of Level-5’s giant robot battle series. This will also mark the first time the game is released outside Japan, and it includes everything in the previous iterations plus new content.
The game tells the story of Yamato Ichidaiji, one of the pilots risking their lives piloting the giant Rogues robots to recapture Earth. In the year 2118, he and his colleagues have to face the insurmountable odds of battling the Draktor alien force.
Some of the new content includes:
- a story beyond the anime adaption of the original game;
- cross-play and cross-save for all systems;
- collabs with mecha series Combattler V, Voltes V, Mazinger Z, and Getter Robo.

Megaton Musashi: Wired will be available worldwide on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and Switch on April 25, 2024.
