Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 just dropped its first playlist update, which brings a new feature aimed at making both enemies and teammates alike more noticeable in-game. More specifically, enemies and teammates will have two separate glows with them, giving players an easy distinction between opponents and allies.
To make the recognition easier for the player, the experimental update gives opponents a red outline. This color distinction makes foes simpler to spot when faced in an open area or during a crossfire but will be invisible behind the cover. Meanwhile, allies have a blue outline around them, which makes them easy to spot on an open view and even behind covers when close.
In addition to the colored outline around players, the November 16 update also brings with it additional content, such as the Terminal 24/7 and Modern Warfare 2 maps. Said maps from the 2022 game include the Shoot House, Crown Raceway, Farm 18, and Mercado Las Almas.
All of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s 16 core multiplayer maps were all remakes from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. But with Season 1 currently on the horizon, three more additional maps are expected to be added to the list on December 6. Coincidentally, when Season 1 arrives, Warzone will also be getting a new map called “Urzikstan”.
