Publisher Annapurna Interactive announced a delay in the release of Open Roads. The adventure game will be available on March 28, 2024 (a little over a month from its original February 22 planned launch).
The announcement came along with a post on X/Twitter. According to the publisher, the game will need some extra polish before release.
Open Roads is an adventure title tells the story of Tess Devine and her mother, Opal. After finding old notes and letters in their attic, the duo goes on a road trip to search for a long-lost family secret.
The duo will have the chance to grow closer as they uncover secrets better left behind. Part of the game’s charm is its hand-drawn animations and the voice acting, with Keri Russell and Kaitlyn Dever as the main characters.
