Atlus has shared a new trailer for Persona 3 Reload, the upcoming remake of the classic RPG Persona 3. Continuing on the series of character presentations, the video shows party member Akihiko Sanada in action.
Akihiko is the party’s brawler, focusing his strength on his punches. In the new edition, the character’s voice actor is Alejandro Saab instead of Liam O’Brien. It’ll also be possible to listen to the Japanese voice actor, Hikaru Midorikawa.
Akihiko’s persona is Polydeuces, who’s strong against electrical skills and weak to ice ones. Besides physical attacks, he’s able to use the Zio line of electrical magic and heal others.
Persona 3 tells the story of young people who join a group called S.E.E.S. to fight the mysterious force of the Dark Hour. In between two days, a 13th hour appears, bringing with it harmful creatures called Shadows.
The protagonist is a young man who moved back to Iwatodai to study at Gekkoukan High. Not long after that, he gets to see the Dark Hour. This encounter leads him to join S.E.E.S., learning about the threat his dormmates have faced so far.
Among these dormmates, we have Akihiko, Yukari Takeba, and Junpei Iori, with the former being a veteran compared to the others. Other party members coming next in the trailer department include the ice queen Mitsuru, dog Koromaru, small boy Ken, support girl Fuuka, and the android Aigis.

Persona 3 Reload is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on February 2, 2024.
