Shadow Of the Ninja – Reborn Delayed To Summer

ININ Games has announced that Shadow of the Ninja – Reborn will come to PlayStation 4 and 5 in Summer 2024. The company originally planned to release the game in Spring.

Shadow of the Ninja – Reborn is a remake of the classic NES game also known as Blue Shadow in Europe and Australia. In the action platformer, players can assume the role of ninja Hayate or the kunoichi Kaede.

Besides the delay announcement, ININ and NatsumeAtari shared a comparison trailer. It shows how different the HD edition looks. It looks much more modern-looking and detailed than the classic game.

Besides the digital release, Shadow of the Ninja – Reborn will also have PS4 and PS5 physical editions, and those are currently on pre-order at Strictly Limited Games store.

A basic limited edition with game and manual costs 29.99€. Those willing to splurge may get a collector’s edition at €69.99 with the following goodies:

  • A metal coin with the ninja designs on each face;
  • An acrylic controller holder;
  • A desk pad;
  • A stickersheet;
  • The soundtrack CD;
  • A Poster in A2 proportions;
  • And eight cards with concept art and info on the game’s bosses and stages.
