KONAMI has shared a new story trailer for Silent Hill 2, the upcoming remake to classic PS2 horror title. The video showcases various bits of the game that fans of the original may recognize.
Silent Hill is a classic survival horror series that started back in 1999 on the original PlayStation. Though the franchise is still alive, most fans recognize the first games as legendary entries in the genre.
Among them, Silent Hill 2 is widely beloved and receives tremendous praise for its mature story. The new trailer teases a bit of it, with various bits from in-game cutscenes and a few moments of gameplay.
In the game, we follow the perspective of James Sunderland. This young man goes to silent hill looking for his dead wife after reading a letter in her handwriting telling him to find her in their special place.
