In celebration of the Holiday season, Sony is launching the PlayStation Plus Season of Play, bringing in new collectibles (both digital and physical), events, and a competition to win cool new prizes. It officially starts December 5 and will last until January 5 of next year.
Free Avatars
During the entirety of the event, booting up either a PS4 or PS5 will reveal a page on the home screen leading to a code that can be redeemed for a free set of Avatars. That also includes icons from a list of titles released on the PlayStation, including Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, etc.

Those looking to grab any PlayStation product would do their best to buy during the event to leverage the 15 discount on offer. To do so, simply head to http://gear.playstation.com/ and then use the code “SEASONOFPLAY15” on checkout.
Raffle
Looking to add another PS5 console to your possession or gift someone who has none? You could win a shiny new console plus a 12-month subscription to PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe by answering questions about the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on the PlayStation Plus website.

Free Online Multiplayer
For a day, from December 9, at 12:01 AM, to December 10, 2023, at 11:59 PM, PlayStation owners can enjoy a free online multiplayer experience, even without an active PS Plus subscription.
Tournaments
There will also be tons of competitions from December 12 to December 17, which are specially tailored for competitive sports fans. Whether it is NBA 2K24, Madden NFL 24, EA Sports FC 24, or MLB the Show 23, participants can bring their A game with the chance to win a PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe membership. But there is no loss to those who would not win any of the tournaments as participants are automatically enrolled in a lottery for a chance to win a PS5 Digital Edition.
PlayStation Stars
Lastly, any active PS Plus subscribers will be entitled to 50 bonus points on PlayStation Stars by simply playing any of these titles from the December PlayStation Plus Monthly Games:
