Bethesda has announced the release date for the next expansion in The Elder Scrolls Online. “Gold Road” is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on June 18, 2024.
The Elder Scrolls Online is a MMORPG developed by Zenimax Online Studios. The game has been available on PlayStation 4 since 2015 and got a PS5 edition in 2021.
Gold Road is the eighth expansion pack for the game, adding new areas to explore in Tamriel. Namely, the update adds the region of West Weald, which includes the Colovian capital Skingrad, the wilds of Dawnwood, Ayleid ruins, and the Colovian Highlands.
Other additions are a new 12-person trial, and the Scribing mechanic that allows players to collect special skills and modify their effects. The new story will revolve around the return of Daedric Prince Ithelia.
