Compile Heart and developer Sting have shared a new trailer for Touhou Spell Carnival. The Japanese video is the fourth in a series highlighting playable characters and their respective tracks.
Touhou Project is a doujin series that started in the NEC PC-9801 in 1996. Ever since the first release, its creator ZUN has been highly receptive of fan projects based on the universe.
Due to this, the series had multiple developers making spin-offs over time. In fact, back in 2014, Sony started a Play, Doujin! initiative to take some of those to their systems.
Touhou Spell Carnival is a project created by Compile Heart and Sting. It’s a strategy RPG that combines tactics and bullet hell in a complex fashion fitting for the developer’s expertise.
For volume 4 of the character presentation, we get to see the following playable allies: Hinanai Tenshi, Kurokoma Saki, Flandre Scarlet, Hijiri Byakuren, and Matara Okina.
