Square Enix has shared a new trailer for Visions of Mana during the Xbox Developer Direct 2024. The action RPG will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this Summer.
Visions of Mana is the latest title in the Mana franchise of action RPGs. The game will feature a semi-open world and it’s the first entirely new 3D console experience since Dawn of Mana on the PS2.
The title follows Val, a young man from the Fire Village of Tianeea. Once the fairies select his childhood friend to travel to the Tree of Mana, he decides to become her soul guard and join her on the journey ahead.
In the video, we’re introduced to the traveling companion pikul, a big wolf-like creature that Val can mount to travel around. It also showcases aerial combat and the use of elemental magic and various weapons.
