During EVO Japan 2024, Capcom announced the latest DLC character coming to the Street Fighter 6 roster, Akuma. He will be coming on May 22nd, 2024, and will be unlocked for owners of the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or Year 1 Character Pass.
The gameplay trailer shows Akuma facing off against his rival, Ryu, in a new stage. We are given a glimpse of his power and new form, as he transforms into the white-haired variant that has been seen across all promotional material. Viewers are also treated to a wide array of specials and supers, including his deadly Shun Goku Satsu.
