Capcom has announced a new balance update for Street Fighter 6 to go along with Akuma’s release. Besides various adjustments, the May 22 update will add a universal reversal mechanic to the game.
Street Fighter 6 is the latest iteration in the long-running fighting franchise. It came out on PlayStation 4 and 5 in June 2023.
In the new video, Capcom revealed that characters will now all have a reversal skill for recovery during tight matches. This should significantly affect the game balance becoming an invaluable tool for pro play.
