NetherRealm Studios Announces Postponed Cross-Play for Mortal Kombat 1

In a recent announcement from NetherRealm Studios, it’s been confirmed that cross-play won’t be immediately available when Mortal Kombat 1 launches. This means that players on the PS5 will initially miss out on Kombat with other platforms. However, fans can hold onto the hope that this much-desired feature will be rolled out shortly.

For those eager to dive into the world of Mortal Kombat 1, the standard edition will be available on the PS5 starting September 19th. Yet, if you’ve secured the Premium or Kollector’s Edition, you’re in for an early treat, as gameplay begins on September 14th.
